Do you need to optimise the workplace to adapt to emerging flexible working trends? Or create an environment where people can collaborate and be creative? Or even reduce energy consumption across your estate?
There's no one size fits all answer to this. Meeting business demands whilst addressing the balance of productivity and flexibility varies from one organisation to the next.
Through our SHAPE, SOURCE, TRANSFORM and OPERATE services, we help you make sense of the data and culture to optimise your colleague experience be it working together or remotely.
We help optimise occupancy, density and the overall office footprint, whilst reducing operating costs and delivering environmental targets through smart energy reduction interventions.
Designing and Implementing a Hybrid Working Model
We designed and implemented a homeworking capability, rapidly enabling 10,000 people in 10 large offices to work from home full time.
Subsequently we designed a hybrid working model that would protect the culture and security of the organisation, and change the role of the office to one where people come together to be inspired, creative, learn, collaborate, and develop.
Through a carefully choregraphed and sequenced change plan we reduced the footprint by 60% and changed the office settings to support the new agile ways of working both increasing productivity, engagement and reducing operating costs by circa £20m.
Developing a Head Office and Support Centre Strategy
Our client had recently merged with another organisation and wanted to design a strategy to streamline its property footprint and implement a consistent hybrid working model across the combined business.
We developed an occupancy modelling capability to understand the future size and shape of the organisation and combined this with external demographic and commercial data points to shortlist target end states.
Finally we developed an implementation roadmap considering factors including leasehold agreements on existing locations and the impact on commute times for staff.
Designing an Energy Management Proposition
Our client is an established facilities management organisation and, as part of that service, had developed a range of bespoke engineering solutions to reduce energy consumption.
However these solutions needed a compelling, overarching product proposition and commercial construct before the product could be taken to market.
We constructed the overall product proposition together with customer ready marketing material and a commercial model making it easy to understand and attractive for customers.
Finally, in conjunction with our client we took the product to market, now being implemented across several organisations
